Discover the Vision Behind Ahmed’s Studio
I am Ahmed Allawi, an Iraqi contemporary artist based in Doha since 1999. My passion lies in transforming Arab and Islamic heritage into a contemporary visual language through bronze sculpture and three-dimensional Arabic calligraphy. I believe art is not merely an aesthetic object, but an ongoing dialogue between past and present.
My practice focuses on discovering movement within stillness — a concept clearly expressed in the “Dancing Letters” and “Dancing Horses” series. I work closely with architects and collectors to ensure every piece tells a unique story and belongs meaningfully to the space it inhabits.

Can I visit the studio?
Yes, we welcome private visits during business hours (from 8 to 16 weeks). You can visit our studio in Doha and discuss your project directly with the artist. It is recommended to contact us in advance to ensure availability.
How long does it take to complete a large-scale sculpture?
The average time for large projects is 8 to 16 weeks — from the initial discussion until the final delivery and installation. The duration depends on the size, materials, and installation.
Can I order a custom piece?
Absolutely! We design and create every piece according to your exact specifications (size, material, design, color, or completely original concept). Every artwork is handcrafted and personally signed by the artist.
What specifications do you accept?
We accept high-end projects for luxury hotels, public spaces, private collections, and major architectural commissions. We work with premium materials and international standards.
Can you handle large public projects?
