I am Ahmed Allawi, a contemporary artist originally from Iraq, currently living in Doha since 1999. My passion lies in reinterpreting Arab and Islamic heritage into a modern visual language through bronze sculptures and three-dimensional Arabic calligraphy. I perceive art as more than just an aesthetic object; it represents an ongoing dialogue between the past and the present.
My creations focus on discovering movement within stillness — a concept vividly represented in the "Dancing Letters" and "Dancing Horses" series. I work closely with architects and collectors to ensure that each piece tells a unique story and integrates meaningfully into its surroundings.
