Where bronze meets mosaic — a monumental statement for extraordinary spaces.

A large-scale installation that combines bronze sculpture with intricately hand-set mosaic artistry. Crafted for settings that demand a strong presence — hotel lobbies, cultural institutions, private estates, and public plazas. Each horse form in the arrangement has its own distinct character and movement, inviting viewers to engage with the art on a deeper level and appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into each piece.

Ahmed Allawi’s proficiency in three-dimensional design merges with the ancient craft of mosaic, creating a piece that transforms any space into a cultural landmark. This unique fusion not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the environment but also serves as a conversation starter, drawing people in to explore the intricate details and the story behind the artwork.

Bronze-Mosaic Horses — Monumental Installation by Ahmed Allawi

Ahmed Allawi is an Iraqi-born fine artist based in Doha, Qatar since 1999. Born in Baghdad in 1968 and holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts (1994), his three-decade career spans bronze sculpture, Arabic calligraphy, and large-scale ceramic murals — crowned by the First Prize at the First World Islamic Competition for the Beautification of Makkah Al-Mukarramah in 2010.

This collection documents a complete artistic journey — from early sketches and foundational designs, through detailed execution, to completed works that have found their place in public spaces and private collections:

The Accomplished — works that are complete and have left their mark, in sculpture, calligraphy, and wearable art.
The Awaiting — projects waiting for the right space and the right moment, because some works are only born when the audience is ready to receive them.

Every piece here is a chapter of a story that has not yet ended.
